Harness and Lead Training Tips

     Get a proper harness that is designed for Potbellied pigs. They are available
online and on Ebay. Do not tie a rope on it, or use a dog lead or any type of
harness that is not designed especially for pigs.


*Never rush the process.
*Make sure the measurements are exact.
*Never tie your pig up with the harness.
*Give it time. Pigs connect being tied up with being trapped. Do not scare it.
*At first do it indoors, away from other pets and children.
*Give it plenty of treats when it accepts the harness.
