If you get a younger piglet, it will not know how to eat on its own. In addition, it will miss its mother and siblings. It will be scared and will be confused and lonely. In such a circumstance, make a play pen for the piglet so that it feels safe and secure. Keep the temperature of the play pen at ninety degrees Fahrenheit. This is because piglets do not generate body heat until they are two weeks old. Also, wrap the baby pig in a towel to keep it warm. Have a couple of soft toys around for the piglet to sleep with. Take a pillow case and place some dried beans into it and tie the top. Heat this in a microwave and place the warm pillow case next to the piglet. It will give it an illusion of being with its mother.

As the piglet is still small and cannot eat normally, feed it with goat's milk and/or baby rice cereal. There are even pig pellets available that can be crushed in a blender and added to the goat's milk and fed to the piglet. This will ensure that the piglet get vitamins and minerals in the liquid form.

Slowly you will have to teach the piglet to eat from a bowl. So, do not get worried if you see the piglet putting its nose into the bowl of food. This is the way the piglet tastes the food and if it likes it, it will eat it.
Remember, pig make wonderful pets that are quite affectionate to their owners. Also, they are very intelligent animals. With a piglet, especially a one that has been separated from its mother too early, you will require some patients in the first few months.

course, on how you fed and exercise your pig. Overfeeding is the main reason
pigs develop health problems and die younger, so try to take care of this much
